Amber is a beautiful 3 year old, 55ish lb female Golden Retriever, who has much love to give. She is house-trained and crate-trained (sleeps at the foot of the bed at night) and uses the crate "on a daily basis when we are away for more than two hours. We leave her out if we are only going to be gone for less than 2 hours." <br/><br/>She gets along well with other dogs her size outside of the home as she used to visit doggie day care a couple times a week and did well, but needs to be the only dog in HER own home. She did not do so well with the smaller dog she lived with. She also does not do well with cats.<br/><br/>She trusts people to care for her and to give her snuggles. Amber is a calm wonderful companion, excellent walker, super friendly, and well behaved. Amber will sit and heel and she will gently take a treat from you and then will set it in the ground and ask for snuggles instead. <br/><br/>We will update as we learn more about Amber, but if you would like to meet her to foster or adopt, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org
