Amber is a 21⁄2-year-old terrier mix who came to the shelter underweight but full of love. With good care and regular meals, she’s thriving and ready for a home of her own. Playful, affectionate, and food-motivated, Amber loves people and learns quickly, she already knows sit, down, leave it, and drop it. She’s polite with toys and enjoys training, especially when treats are involved. Amber’s favorite thing is water! She loves splashing in a pool or playing with a hose. She can become a bit overstimulated during high energy play and would do best as the only dog in the home. A calm structured environment with teenagers would help her thrive.
