Amara is a 1–2-year-old, 58-pound mixed breed (our best guess is pittie/bulldog) who is sweet, goofy, playful, and full of personality! After surviving on her own for about a month, she's been safe in her foster home for months—and she's ready to finally be in her forever home.<br/><br/>Amara LOVES toys and could play all day! She's also obsessed with water, so bring on the hose and sprinkler! When the fun is over, she's happy to chill with a bone or frozen Kong.<br/><br/>She's fully house-trained, crate-trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, and knows sit, paw, and the magic word: “treat!” She's also made great progress with leash walking through private training. Her foster can go over her training with her new family.<br/><br/>Amara adores people and loves giving kisses! She would do best as the only pet in the home. Due to her prey drive, she needs a home without cats or small animals and she prefers to avoid vocal/growly dogs (but let's be honest, who doesn't?). She has done well with teenagers and may do well with older children after proper introductions. Her size and energy make her less suited for young kids.<br/><br/>She's been waiting long enough.
