Amanda's Story
Meet Amanda! This adorable 4-year-old Cairn Terrier mix weighs 15 pounds and is one entertaining little character. Amanda came to us as a stray and has been in foster care for a while, where we’ve had the chance to get to know her and see her personality shine. She is active, high-energy, and definitely not afraid to express herself—Amanda is a vocal little girl with plenty to say! Once she trusts someone, she is affectionate and loves being with her people. Amanda is socially selective, however, and she needs an adopter who understands that not every dog is comfortable with everyone and who is willing to create an environment where she can feel secure and successful. Because of her particular needs, Amanda is looking for an adult-only home with no children and no other pets. She’ll do best with someone who appreciates a dog with a big personality, respects her boundaries, and is willing to let trust develop on her terms. In return, you’ll get a funny, energetic, affectionate little companion who will keep you entertained and make sure you’re never wondering what she’s thinking! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.
