She is a shy girl that looks like a little lamb. <br/><br/>Alva is an adorable Maltese girl who is ready to discover what it means to be loved simply for being herself. She is a shy girl that looks like a little lamb! <br/><br/>She came to us from a Wisconsin breeding farm after what we assume was a lifetime spent producing puppies. While we can't change her past, we can help ensure that the next chapter of her life is filled with comfort, kindness, and the love she has always deserved.<br/><br/>Alva is sweet, gentle, and quietly charming. She's not asking for much just a family that will cherish her and show her that life can be about more than meeting someone else's needs.<br/><br/>While Alva may be considered a senior by some, it's important to remember that Maltese dogs often enjoy long lifespans. She could easily have seven to eight years or more ahead of her. That's a lot of walks, a lot of cuddles, a lot of happy memories, and most importantly, a lot of love.<br/><br/>Because of her background, we believe Alva has likely never lived in a home before. Everyday things that most dogs take for granted may be completely new to her. For that reason, we would love to see her placed in a home with another friendly, confident dog that can help show her the ropes and provide reassurance as she adjusts to family life.<br/><br/>Alva deserves the chance to spend the second half of her life being someone's beloved companion rather than someone's breeding dog. With patience, understanding, and a canine friend to guide her, we know she can blossom into a wonderful family member.<br/><br/>If you have room in your heart and home for a gentle soul who is ready for a fresh start, Alva may be the perfect addition to your family. <br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $650<br/><br/>To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net<br/><br/>Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. We do not guarantee dog breeds.<br/>WI License #270548.
