Coming Soon!<br/> * ALTAIR *<br/>Breed GUESS: Shepherd/ Cattle Dog /Husky<br/>Age: 1 yr<br/>Weight. 80lbs<br/><br/> Have you ever dreamed of having your own magnificent beast with eyes like a galaxy?<br/>A dog model that stops traffic with his dashing good looks and electric personality?<br/>A best friend so trainable that the possibilities are endless, and only determined by the work you put in?<br/>This is your guy.<br/><br/>When Altair first arrived at our home, he was a handful.<br/>A big dog who had never been given boundaries and rules.<br/>Within just days of consistency in learning boundaries, and a schedule, a completely different dog emerged. <br/>This may be the single most trainable dog we have ever fostered.<br/>He is incredibly intelligent and wants to please his people.<br/>He would be a runner's dream companion. <br/> <br/>Altair is learning his manners both with people and dogs. <br/>He's now in doggy daycamp with dogs from 25 lbs, up to his daycare bestie, an 80 lb boxer.<br/><br/>He kennels clean and quiet and is 99% potty trained if you pay attention to his ques.<br/><br/>We have a little more work and training to do, but we would love to have a home ready for him when he's ready.<br/><br/>Altair's Home Requirements:<br/>[ ] A fenced yard<br/>[ ] No children under 12 (purely because he learning his own size and spacial awareness)<br/>[ ] An active owner that can fulfill his moderate daily exercise and mental stimulation needs.<br/>[ ] An owner that wants to continue his training to guide him to be the dog he can be.<br/><br/>If you think he might be the dog for you, put your app in at soardogs.org or reach out with any questions about this amazing boy.<br/><br/>Adoption donation required. This covers altering, DAP series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, heartworm test (if over 8 months), monthly flea/heartworm prevention to date, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation. <br/><br/>All SOAR dogs go through a ten-day quarantine period to ensure they are healthy, before being adopted. We do not operate on a first come first serve basis, but screen applicants in order to find the best fit for our adoptable dogs.
