ALPINE's Story

ALPINE was brought to the shelter as a stray, so nothing is known about his background.

ALPINE is a younger adult, estimated to be 2 - 4 years old, he weighs 50 lbs, he's had his DA2PP and bordetella vaccines and he is listed as a Mountain Cur mix. ALPINE is not yet neutered, but he is on the waiting list at the vet. If ALPINE is not neutered prior to adoption, his adoption fee includes a $75 voucher to be used toward his neuter surgery at the vet of your choice.

ALPINE is a very nice, friendly boy, he is very handsome and he knows "sit"! ALPINE enjoys going for walks and walks well on a leash.

It is difficult to tell for sure in the shelter whether or not a dog is housebroken, so it is best to assume they are not and be pleasantly surprised if they are.

ALPINE has been fine around the other dogs at the shelter, but nothing is known about how he is with kids or cats since there are neither at the shelter. Please bring your kids, dog(s), and even your cat(s), if possible, to the shelter for a meet and greet with the help of the warden or deputies just to be sure everyone gets along before taking ALPINE home!
