Alphie

Hello, my name is Alphie and I'm a boy who is about 5-6 months old and weighs ~40lbs. When I came to the shelter, I was so terrified I didn’t want to walk or go through doors. When I first arrived at my foster home, I went to a corner of the yard and shook. But by that same evening, I was relaxing on a dog bed in the house and getting along with the two dogs that live there. I am learning about the cats that live here too. As I got settled, I explored the house and learned how to work a doggie door. I now love to snuggle and am very, very sweet! I actually came with the name Alpha, but my fosters called me Alphie, because I am so sweet and not trying to be the boss--so Alphie fits me better! I have learned to walk on a leash and fosters are super impressed with how well I am doing. I am growing quickly and full of puppy energy and curiosity. <br/>I am ready to meet my forever people.
