Alpha's Story

Born December 12th 2025 -(yes, they were born into our rescue 😊) Alpha is a male terrier mix seeking his forever family.<br/>At 14 weeks old, he is still exploring his surroundings and learning about the world.<br/>He will need a family willing to put the training work in-potty training is coming along (he is pad trained) and he is crate trained.<br/>Leash manners and basic commands are a work in progress.<br/>He is a silly, lovable and playful guy.<br/>He would love a home with another canine companion-he’s young enough to learn to live with cats as well. <br/>He will be small when full grown (mom is only 12lbs) for that reason if there are children in the home; we ask that they be over age 5<br/>We will give preference to a home with fully fenced yard.

Mikey's Chance Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
