Allison's Story
AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Allison! Allison is a 9 month old female shih tzu mix and she weighs about 8 pounds. Allson is still growing, and she could be up to 10-15 pounds when she is full grown, but we can not predict her adult weight. Allison is still a puppy and will need a patient family willing to continue to work with her using positive reinforcement to help her learn her life skills and build her confidence. Her foster dad says she would like to introduce herself: Herrrro, my name is Alison. I’m a very sweet and friendly little girl. However, I am extremely shy and scared at first until I get comfortable with you. I am also scared of sudden movements and loud noises, so it is ideal for me to have a “safe space” where I can go and hide. I really do like like attention from my human, but I'm scared and it takes time. Once I’m settled and feel safe, I love to run outside and play with other fur friends (speaking of which, I MUST have another pup in my forever home). I would prefer a home with no young children and a human who can be home with me most of the day. I currently like to sleep in my crate, and will run into it to hide sometimes during the day. I sleep well through the night and I’m doing well on potty training, but I am still a puppy so an occasional accident could happen. If you are looking for a sweet and loving new family member and are willing to work with me, then I’m the pup for you!

Allison is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Allison is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $425. If you are interested in applying to adopt Allison, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
