Hero's Haven Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption screening process is as follows: 1) Potential adopters should complete the adoption application at https://heroshavenanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms. 2) We will do a background check and contact your personal references as well as your vet reference if you currently have or have had pets in your home. 3) We will do an adoption interview and may request a home visit. 4) If/when approved as an applicant, a meet and greet with your preferred animal will be arranged to ensure it is a good fit for both you and the dog or cat.
