Allie's Story
Allie is a favorite of the shelter staff! She loves to run and play, is very affectionate, one of her favorite things to do is laying on her back to get belly rubs. Allie is very smart as well, she already knows heel, sit, lay down, wait, and come (check out her video)! She is a very happy and social girl who gets along with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks about cats. Allie sometimes limps after running around for a while but it is not always. It does not seem to bother her one bit and you don't always see it. She has been x-rayed and been to several vets who agree she it is most likely congenital defect of her arm and recommended a brace to give her added support when running and playing which she now has. She is also currently on an over the counter glucosamine to see if it helps which she may/may not need it long term but time will tell. Allie also had tested positive for tick disease and has since completed her course of antibiotic with no issues. Allie will make a great addition for some lucky family willing to give her a chance. <br/>Allie's adoption fee is $400. This covers all age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping and other vetting.
