Allie is a 3-year-old Coonhound/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who came to us from a kill shelter in Texas! Her past wasn't kind - she spent most of her life outdoors in a situation where she wasn't treated with the care every dog deserves. Thankfully, someone stepped in, and she was brought to safety. She's truly a gentle soul learning what it feels like to be loved - and she's ready to find her forever home!

Hero's Haven Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption screening process is as follows: 1) Potential adopters should complete the adoption application at https://heroshavenanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms. 2) We will do a background check and contact your personal references as well as your vet reference if you currently have or have had pets in your home. 3) We will do an adoption interview and may request a home visit. 4) If/when approved as an applicant, a meet and greet with your preferred animal will be arranged to ensure it is a good fit for both you and the dog or cat.
