Allie's Story
Allie is an adorable Pem corgi/corgi-mix puppy approximately 6 months old with a lovely and expressive tail. She and her sister came into rescue with an unknown background as a "breeder release". She is sweet, quirky, loves her toys, and loves to play and wrestle with her foster sister. Outside in a secure, fenced backyard, she runs at top speed, so fast that her foster sister just stops and watches her until she runs out of steam. It is not uncommon for Allie to have “frap attacks” and run from one end of the house to another, banking off doors and walls as she goes. When she naps, she prefers to "prop" on whatever she can find to serve as a pillow, usually one of her favorite toys, or even better, in your lap.

Allie is making great progress in finding out that the world can be a happy and fun place to be a puppy. She’s learning how to be OK with a harness, walking on a leash, housebreaking, going up and down stairs, sleeping and eating in a crate and more but she’s also a work in progress. Allie will need a family who has doggy experience and lots of patience to help her be the best corgi she can be. She will also need a securely fenced yard and would benefit from puppy classes to help her gain confidence. We think she would love to have the company of another playful dog. She has met a few cats and was curious but we don’t know how she might do with them as housemates.

Allie is spayed, microchipped, has all her vaccinations and is on heartworm/flea/parasite preventative. If interested in adopting Allie, please visit our website at www.corgirescuestlouis.org for a downloadable adoption application.

Adoption Fee is $350
