Allard's Story

Meet Allard!

Allard is a 5 year old black and rust dober boy who came to us from an Ohio shelter. He is super sweet and an excellent car rider who adores his humans. With his affectionate nature, this velcro dog loves being by your side and will lovingly nudge you for pets and attention.

Allard is currently in a foster home with small dogs and cats. While he does well with the cats, he does try to engage in play, so a dog-savvy cat might be his ideal feline friend. He's also been friendly with all dogs he's met on walks and showed no reaction to a nearby deer, highlighting his calm demeanor outdoors. He's still learning his leash manners and pulls a bit on walks, so he'll need continued positive reinforcement training. He is crate trained, resulting in his crate serving as a designated area for sleep and meals.

Allard has a sensitive stomach, so he requires formula food for sensitive stomachs and treat intake should be moderate. Allard will make a wonderful companion. We believe he would be suited to almost any home.

Please note, we are accepting applications in most of Ohio, southeastern Michigan, southeastern Indiana and western Pennsylvania.

Interested in Allard?
