All Olive Needs Is Someone to Choose Her's Story
Olive is a truly special girl who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She’s a smart, affectionate, and beautifully well-mannered hound who already knows what it means to be a beloved family dog — and she’s hoping for the chance to be one again.

Olive is about 3 years old and weighs 43 lbs. She’s highly treat-motivated and knows an impressive list of commands including sit, down, wait, back it up, leave it, and crate. She’s fully potty trained, follows a consistent meal and potty schedule, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. She also does great with her trusted pet sitters, showing just how adaptable and trusting she is.

She loves her walks, basking in the sunshine, and curling up next to you as your loyal TV-time companion. Olive enjoys gentle affection, belly rubs once she’s comfortable, and happily entertains herself with stuffed toys and nylon chews. One of her sweetest quirks is her happy howl — a little song she sings when she sees you or knows dinner is coming.

Calm, loyal, and quietly playful, Olive thrives with love, structure, and companionship. She’s already the kind of dog people hope for — well-adjusted, affectionate, and eager to belong.

Olive isn’t starting over because she did anything wrong. She just needs someone willing to open their heart and give her the forever she deserves. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will appreciate every bit of love you give, Olive is ready and waiting.

Rescue Coop is a registered 501c that saves dogs from imminent euthanasia and at risk situations and transports them directly to approved adopters nationwide.
