This sweet girl has seen a lot of change recently - her owner passed away, after which she was driven up from California and ultimately surrendered to the shelter. Alita is used to living with one person and doing everything with them. She would be a great match for a single person or couple who have a flexible schedule and are looking for a loyal companion. Alita is understandably stressed with all her recent changes and would do best with someone who is dog-experienced and knows to take things slow and easy. At only about 2 years old, Alita still has lots of energy. She will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep her occupied.
