Alice's Story

Alice doesn't live there any more! The dreamsickle, creamsickle-colored dog is a volunteer favorite. She came from WV with a limp from being a BB-gun target. Tightening up from having borne one or more litters before we met her, she also has a couple of lumps from a hard life, that is over. Now Alice is in Wonderland — wondering when she will be a cherished member of a new family. Quiet and reserved initially with new people, but ebullient and playful once she knows you or is teamed up with another playful dog, Alice is ready to meet potential adopters who want a truly darling companion.

Estimated to be 2 years old and just at 50 lbs., Alice is crate-trained and listed as holding the triple crown of being dog-, cat- and kid-friendly. Alice walks nicely on leash ("Alice Walker" — she's famous too!) and is very sweet with all she meets.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
