Alice's Story

Fostered In: Chehalis, WA
Adoption Fee: $450
Vaccines: Bordetella, DAPP+ Lepto
WILL BE Spayed, Microchipped, Dewormed, Treated for Fleas

Meet Alice - Curious, Gentle & Learning the World

This puppy is currently eligible for our foster-to-adopt program because they have not yet been spayed. We believe puppies should be able to begin bonding and learning with their forever families as early as possible. Through foster-to-adopt, the puppy goes home with their approved family as a foster and returns for their scheduled spay appointment, at which time the adoption is finalized. Because the puppy must be returned the night before their surgery, foster-to-adopt families must live reasonably close to Centralia so transportation is manageable.

Alice is an approximately 5-month-old puppy, believed to be a husky/shepherd mix, who is slowly learning that the world isn't such a scary place. She had a rough start in life with very little socialization, but she is already beginning to blossom in her foster home. While she may be a little shy at first, her curiosity really shines through once she starts to feel comfortable. Alice is currently in a foster home with children, other dogs, cats, chickens, and livestock, and is doing a wonderful job learning how to appropriately interact with everyone around her. She loves being near her people, happily accepts pets, and is continuing to build confidence each day. She is doing great with crate training and potty training, with only the occasional accident when she gets a little too excited. Alice will thrive in a patient and understanding home that will continue to guide her, build her confidence, and show her all the good things life has to offer. With time, love, and consistency, she is going to make an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

Alice has already come so far, and we know-just like her sister-that she will continue to grow and thrive in a forever home with someone willing to give her a chance.
