Alice's Story

Meet beautiful Alice!

This sweet 3-year-old, approximately 38-pound Cunucu girl came from Aruba as a tiny puppy and has been cherished by her family since she was about 3 months old. She’s spayed, healthy, up to date on her vaccinations, crate trained, fully house trained, and has grown up with children.

Alice is affectionate, goofy, playful, and full of personality. She loves toys, belly rubs, zoomies, hiking, and especially other dogs! One of her favorite things is visiting the local park, where she can run and play with her canine friends. She would love a compatible dog buddy to zoom around with.

Alice is wonderful with people and walks well on leash in calm settings. Like many young, energetic dogs, she can become overstimulated when she sees another dog while walking and may react on leash. She does best with thoughtful introductions to new dogs in a safe, securely fenced area. Once she feels comfortable, she truly enjoys canine companionship.

Alice has lived happily with children her entire life and loves being part of a family. Very large, chaotic gatherings can understandably be a little overwhelming, but in her everyday life, she is a loving and devoted companion.
Alice’s family loves her deeply. She has been part of their family since puppyhood, and making this decision has not been easy. With both adults working full-time, raising children, and no fenced yard, they’ve realized they can no longer provide Alice with the exercise, playtime, and safe opportunities to run that she needs to be her happiest self.
This is not because Alice isn’t loved. It’s because she is loved enough for her family to put her needs first. They want only the very best for her and are committed to finding the right home—not just any home.

Alice’s ideal home would have a securely fenced yard and someone with the time to give her regular exercise, attention, and safe opportunities to run and play. A compatible canine companion would be wonderful, but another dog isn’t required. An active person or family who can include Alice in their daily life could also be a wonderful fit.
Alice may appear larger in photos than she really is, but she is actually only about 38 pounds.

Alice has been a beloved family dog virtually her entire life. She’s gorgeous, sweet, affectionate, crate trained, house trained, and has so much love to give. Her family hopes to find her a loving forever home where she will be cherished just as much as she is today.

Think Alice might be the right fit for your family?
