While leash walking is a brand-new adventure that he's still working hard to master, he thrives with a secure, fenced-in backyard where he can run fast and zoom to his hearts content. Great with older kids, cats, and other dogs, Ali is housebroken on a regular schedule—just be ready for his absolute favorite routine: expecting an immediate, celebratory head rub the second he finishes his business! Ali is the ultimate companion and personal shadow who loves following you from room to room, cuddling up right next to you at night, and playing with toys (especially ones he can pull apart!). He is wonderfully low maintenance when left home alone, remaining quiet and calm without any whining. While he'll give a quick bark to greet visitors coming through the door, he settles down fast and will do anything for a good belly or head rub.
