Meet Alfredo 🐾<br/><br/>Alfredo is a 7-month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing in at about 50 lbs — and yes, he is still very much a puppy. Long legs, big feelings, and the happiest little bunny hops you’ve ever seen when he gets excited.<br/>Alfredo is what we lovingly call a dog’s dog. He absolutely enjoys being around his people, but his confidence really shines when he has a canine best friend by his side. Another playful, confident dog in the home is required for him to truly thrive.<br/><br/>The Good Stuff:<br/>🐶 Great with dogs of all sizes<br/>🚪 House trained & dog-door trained (does wonderful with it!)<br/>💤 Crate trained (prefers not to be crated alone at night) he loves to know that everyone is there<br/>🦴 Loves toys and chew bones<br/>🦮 Does well on leash<br/>🔇 Not very barky<br/><br/>Alfredo found himself as a stray and then in a shelter, so he’s still learning that the world is safe and kind. He’s super playful and curious, but there’s still a touch of shyness there. He will gently “pet you back,” but he can be bashful about receiving affection at first. He just needs patience, understanding, and a little time to settle in.<br/><br/>This is not a ready-made, confident social butterfly. This is a sensitive young dog who will absolutely flourish in the right environment. With consistency and a steady canine buddy, he is going to grow into an incredible companion.<br/>Another dog required. No small children.<br/><br/>If you’re willing to give this sweet boy the guidance and stability he’s been missing, Alfredo will reward you with loyalty, playful energy, and the most joyful bunny hops you’ve ever seen.<br/><br/>🐾 Adoption Info:<br/>All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following:<br/><br/>All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation.<br/><br/>All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations.<br/><br/>All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here:<br/>https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog<br/><br/>Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application.<br/><br/>Please note:<br/>The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or have been offered to another rescue within our network.
