He loves to play with other dogs his own size and after a good romp will curl up in the same bed for naptime together.

While he is wary of new people, he is quickly learning that belly pets are kind of a great thing. He has even learned that if he climbs the pet steps it leads to the foster's comfy bed where he can snuggle right in!

Due to his skittish temperament, it is recommended Alfie be placed in a home with children over the age of 10.

A few facts about Alfie:

His favorite game is tug. Bring it on!
He LOVES to snuggle....with other dogs and in cozy places. We think with time and patience, he will actually be a real snuggle bug!
Alfie comes to you housetrained. No accidents!
He will bark when excited but is not overly vocal.
He really enjoys the companionship of other dogs and would be happiest in a household with another canine friend.
While he isn't afraid of a kennel, he is not considered kennel trained.
Alfie has not been cat tested and his prey drive is unknown.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well.
