Tall, dark and handsome, Alfie will sweep you off your feet! He is a playful 7-year-old; if you have a ball, he is always up for a game of fetch. Need a running or walking partner? He will happily join you. He is housetrained, gentle, calm, and gets along with people and other dogs. This loveable guy has had some confusing changes in his life, so it may take him a minute to warm up and feel safe, but, once he does, he loves to be near his human, leaning in for petting. He will need someone to be patient with him as he builds confidence and learns not to be scared of new sounds and places. Alfie does not realize his size, so a home with older children may be best. Come meet Alfie! Approximate Birthdate: July 2017 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.
