Alfie's Story
MEET ALFIE!!

Alfie is a 9 wk old chihuahua mix. He currently weighs 5 lbs and most likely will be under 25 lbs as an adult. He is a very sweet boy who is very gentle and loves to cuddle and be held. Alfie is a little on the shy side, but warms up rather quickly. He has the cutest little curly tail and short stubby legs. He sleeps through the night in a pen with his siblings.

If Alfie seems like the perfect fit for your family, please apply.

Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.

Follow us on FACEBOOK: www.Facebook.com/PawsUp4RescueJoliet/
on INSTAGRAM: www.Instagram.com/PawsUp4RescueJoliet/
