Alexis's Story

Hi, I'm Alexis! I was rescued from a California shelter with my mom, dad, and siblings when I was just three weeks old. I’ll be ready for adoption when I turn eight weeks old in the middle of April! My mom is a Siberian Husky named Moira (also adoptable!), and my dad is presumed to be Johnny (also adoptable!. 🐾 My adoption fee is $400, plus a refundable $100 deposit once you provide proof of spay/neuter. I am currently accepting adoption applications, I'll be ready to go home on April 19th, and I'm only available for virtual meet & greets! Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds like me often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
