Meet Alexander!<br/><br/>Alexander is around 4 years old and came to us when his owner could no longer care for him.<br/><br/>Alexander is a friendly boy, though he can be a bit timid at first. He loves people, loves attention and is very affectionate. He gets along well with other dogs but has not met a cat.<br/><br/>We think he will be fine with kids too (over 8 is great).<br/><br/>Alexander is an energetic boy who loves his walks. He is not a couch potato though he can relax alongside you just fine. He does not like to be alone - which is not uncommon for rescue dogs.He can learn to spend time alone here and there.<br/><br/>He can bark at times and for this reason is not suitable for apartment living. He is working on potty training - he did not learn this in his previous home - and his foster mom is working hard to help him understand. He is catching on an doing well.<br/><br/>Alexander is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450<br/><br/>We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Saving Great Animals WA's Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of our available dogs, you can visit our website savinggreatanimals.org and submit an application. We will then connect you with the dog's foster family for a meet and greet.  Saving Great Animals offers a two week trial adoptions for all dogs, to make sure they are indeed a good match for you. During the trial adoption we are here to support you with advice and training.  Saving Great Animals is a match-making service and not a shelter. We do not have a public facility for you to visit as all of our animals are placed in foster homes. This is a better environment for the animal and also allows us to learn more about their behaviors before they are adopted.  If you are interested in meeting an adoptable pet, please submit an application for that animal via our website and we will then connect you with the foster family for a meet and greet.
