Once he trusts you, he's incredibly loyal and will happily follow you from room to room.<br/><br/>He's an easy housemate who does well home alone during the workday, sleeps through the night, knows "sit," loves treats (especially baked chicken!), and enjoys playing fetch—though he's still working on the "drop it" part. He's also been a great sport about his medicated baths.<br/><br/>Alexander is still building confidence and can be reactive to unfamiliar people, especially men, as well as other dogs. Thunder and loud noises can also make him nervous. Because of this, we think he may do best as the only pet in a calm, female-only home with someone who will give him the time and patience he needs to feel safe.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a devoted companion who will reward your kindness with endless loyalty, Alexander might be your perfect match.
