Alex's Story

I arrived at FairyTails with my son, Scozy, and partner, Stella. All three of us were really dirty and matted. Fleas and ticks really liked us. Our owner had been using us for backyard breeding and then he didn't want us anymore. But the kind FairyTails staff took us in. They bathed and groomed us so that we felt and smelled much better. They have been feeding and exercising us and we have a nice place to sleep. I even went to the weekly FairyTails dog training to learn how to walk on a leash. As you can see, I was really happy to be there with other rescued dogs and friendly volunteers. I may not look super beautiful now because my fur had to be cut really short, but I am learning how to be a dog that is loved and cared for. I am not sure yet about other dogs and kids, because I am scared of all the new things I am experiencing. I hope a loving and caring person will adopt me so that I will have a forever home. I am not house trained yet, but I think I can do it if a wonderful person shows me how and is patient with me. I am sure I can be a great dog. Will you adopt me? They are housed either in foster homes or in house at our facility in warm, spacious suites, with plenty of food, water, toys and attention.

All adopters must fill out an adoption application. Message us and we will be glad to email you our Adoption Application. You must be approved to adopt with FairyTails Pet Adoptions Program. If your application is approved we will contact you by phone or email. All adoptions are scheduled appointments for a meet and greet. We do not allow droppin’s at this time.
