He wakes up ready to play, finds a toy, shows you his toy, loses the toy, finds another toy, and then proudly presents that toy as if he personally discovered it in the wild.<br/><br/>Alejandro's hobbies include toy collecting, toy showing, toy rediscovering, and conducting very important investigative sniffing missions to make sure no toy in the house has been left unplayed with. If there's a squeaker within a 10-mile radius, he will find it.<br/><br/>He's also incredibly curious about the world around him. Alejandro loves to watch what his people are doing and when you talk to him, he responds with the absolute cutest little head tilts — like he's carefully processing every word and deciding what exciting activity should happen next.<br/><br/>On top of all that enthusiasm, Alejandro is wicked smart. He's very observant, quick to pick up on things, and eager to engage with his people. With a little training and guidance, he's the type of dog who will learn quickly and probably figure out a few things on his own too.<br/><br/>Because he has so much energy and curiosity about the world, Alejandro would thrive in a home where he has space to explore. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
