He may take a little time to warm up to new faces, but once he trusts you, he is completely devoted and won’t want to leave your side. <br/><br/>He absolutely loves being close to his person!! Whether that’s cuddling on the couch or snuggling up right next to you in bed at night. He thrives on attention and affection and will happily soak up all the cuddles you have to give.<br/><br/>He enjoys lounging in comfy clothes (and looks adorable doing it!) and loves having a cozy dog bed to relax in. He will occasionally play with toys, but his favorite thing is simply being near his favorite human.<br/><br/>He is crate trained and settles well when needed. He REQUIRES a home with a fenced in yard where he can feel comfortable and secure.<br/><br/>He can be a little protective of his person and prefers to have his space respected, especially around other dogs, so while he can live with other dogs, it's important those dogs are respectful of this. He also appreciates a consistent routine and continued guidance with house manners.<br/><br/>Alec is not a match for children.
