Alby's Story

An anonymous donor has kindly sponsored $200 towards Alby’s adoption fees. He's ready to find a home with a $50 adoption fee!

Meet Alby, a 49-pound Australian Shepherd and Beagle mix with the sweetest, goofiest personality! At 9 years young, you’d never guess he was a senior based on his energy levels, especially when he’s outside or practicing tricks for treats. However, you might catch a glimpse of his age during his big old afternoon naps.

Alby is potty trained, knows commands like "sit," "stay," and "leave it," and loves being brushed. He LOVES toys, especially when it comes to stuffed animals. While he is a loyal and attentive listener once he trusts you, he prefers a home without toddlers whose fast movements might startle his old bones. He has been tested at the shelter and does great with children over 8 years old. Having previously lived with both a dog and a cat, Alby would love to find a forever home with some furry siblings!
