Alaska's Story
Alaska is 2 years old, weighs about 55 pounds, and she approaches life with one goal: have as much fun as possible. She has the kind of personality that keeps you entertained because you truly never know what goofy thing, she's going to do next. One minute she's bouncing around looking like she's got somewhere very important to be, and the next she's making the silliest faces, hoping you'll stop what you're doing to pay attention to her.

She absolutely loves people, and kids are no exception. If you have hands available for petting, she'll happily volunteer herself. She's the type of dog that makes friends wherever she goes and doesn't seem to understand the concept of strangers.

Alaska has also done great with the other dog-friendly dogs she's met here. She enjoys having buddies to play with, and she's quickly become a favorite around the shelter because she's just so much fun to be around. Even on the busiest days, she's the dog that reminds us not to take life so seriously.

She's spayed, up to date on her current vaccines, and walks pretty nicely on a leash. She'd be just as happy joining you for a walk around the neighborhood as she would flopping over afterward and soaking up all the attention she can get.
Some dogs are calm. Some dogs are serious. Alaska? Alaska is the friend who convinces everyone to have a little more fun.

If your house could use a daily dose of laughter, a goofy sidekick, and a dog that's always ready to brighten your day, come meet Alaska.
If interested in adopting, please click the link below to fill out an application:
www.bellwetherharbor.org/adoptions/application-for-adoption/
