Alanis's Story

Alanis is a female Pitbull Mix puppy who is looking for a new home. She came into the shelter with her siblings after their owner could no longer keep them. She is around 10-12 weeks old, and will be looking for a home with someone who will be willing to work with her on house-training and such. Alanis has not been around cats or small children here at the shelter. If you're interested in meeting her/him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9AM-5PM to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
