Alana's Story

This sweet girl was on the list to be euthanized until citizens stepped up with pledges for her and one of our volunteers reached out to say they would gladly foster her if we pulled her. As you can see in the video she is great with children and I’m told loves to watch TV and snuggle. She is house trained and crate trained and is a sucker for car rides. We do not know what this baby has been through and introductions to other dogs have not been 100% successful, she appears to be dog selective. She also appears not to be familiar with cats and will chase them. Despite the obstacles that stand in her way, she is such a sweet and loving soul who deserves her forever home. $100 of this little girls adoption fee is being sponsored to ensure that she goes to the perfect home!

We have two applications. We have a foster to adopt application for animals that are not ready to be adopted quite yet or for people who are not ready to commit just yet and we also have an adoption application for those who are ready to adopt immediately. Once received, we review the information I make reference calls and speak with the individual to see if they are a good fit.
