Meet Alana - or "Lemon," as her foster family calls her. <br/><br/>A few things to know about Alana:<br/><br/>- Sweet, affectionate cuddle bug<br/>- Housetrained and crate trained<br/>- Does well with dogs after a little time to adjust<br/>- Lives peacefully with cats<br/>- Loves belly rubs, chew toys and running around the yard<br/>- Best suited for a home with older kids<br/><br/>Alana is happiest wherever her people are. She'll climb onto the couch, sit beside you like a human and eventually flop over to make it very clear that belly rubs are required.<br/><br/>She does well with other dogs, but appreciates a slower introduction and a little time to get comfortable sharing her space. Once she does? Her foster says she now tries to cuddle with the resident dog and even climb into her crate with her.<br/><br/>Cats are no big deal either. Alana mostly ignores the cats in her foster home.<br/><br/>She's crate trained and does well sleeping there at night or hanging out there while her people are gone. She even runs into her crate at mealtime because she prefers eating there.<br/><br/>Alana can still have some young-dog moments - chewing something she shouldn't, digging a hole in the yard or deciding a small critter looks very interesting.
