Aladdin

Aladdin is a sweet, cuddly softie. He is extremely affectionate and craves human attention. He wants to be by his person or people all the time. He is still very active though, and would benefit from having a playful female dog to share his life with. He needs to be able to burn off energy every day, so we will not place him into a home without a fenced yard and we definitely prefer to find him a home with another active dog.<br/><br/>Aladdin came from animal control so we have no history on him.  We think he is about 3 years old.  He is housebroken and crate trained. He is great will all of the female dogs we’ve seen him with and just wants to play play play. We don’t know how he is with male dogs so we won’t place him into a home with a male dog. We also don’t know how he is with cats. He is reactive to other dogs on walks and barks at them. He is a little insecure when meeting new people, but he does warm up to them fairly quickly.<br/><br/>Aladdin had some digestive issues when we got him and they seem to have cleared up by giving him probiotics and feeding him Hill's Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome Dog Food. We're hoping he can be transitioned to a non-prescription food, but it may take some time for him to adjust. His adopter should be willing to continue with this food for at least a while.<br/><br/>Aladdin has been neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $350. His adopter must live within an hour’s drive of Atlanta.
