She is in foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up!

Meet Akira!

Have you ever seen a cuter face in your life?! We didnt think so.

This sweet girl was saved off the euthanasia list with only minutes to spare. She has been waiting patiently for nearly nine months for her forever home and hasnt received a single adoption application. Honestly, we cant understand why.

Akira is fully crate-trained and knows her basic commands. This girl has the sweetest puppy eyes and wants nothing more than a person of her own that will lounge and snuggle with her. Shes a big love bug who thinks shes a tiny lap dog. During the day you can find her snoozing on a comfy dog bed until its time to go for a walk. She listens and follows commands well and takes treats incredibly gently. To keep occupied she chews on bones or throws her stuffed toys from the bed and jumps down to get them.

Akira adores people and enjoys hanging out with calm, submissive pups. She would be okay as the only dog in her new home as her true dream is to be your one and only; the apple of your eye. This big-hearted girl is such a kind soul, and wed love nothing more than to see her finally meet her forever best friend. In return, she promises a lifetime of unconditional love!

***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***

Interested in applying to adopt her?
