Akayo was one of the many huskies who ended up on death row ready to be euthanized . As usual we have to rush against the clock to save these precious baby . <br/><br/>Luckily we had in time . <br/><br/>As a rescuer I wonder who would dump these angels in the highest kill shelters knowing they will be dead any second . <br/><br/>He is safe under our wings and ready for his forever home . <br/><br/>Akayo is between 3 and 4 years old . He is dog friendly and is a calm but curious husky . <br/><br/>He is very friendly and loves snuggles . <br/><br/>This sweetheart deserves the best family out there . <br/><br/>He is located in Huntington NY . <br/><br/>If you would like Akayo as your new family member then please email us and we send you the adoption link .

We don't adopt our adult shepherds to families with children under the age of 10 . We don't adopt our shepherds to apartment or condo owners . Nor do we adopt out when the yard is not fully fenced .

A-Team ELITE Rescue Dogs is a non-profit rescue based out of New York.   We work primarily with German Shepherds.  We pull abused and neglected dogs from high kill shelters, provide them with needed medical care including up-to-date-shots and spay/neuter.
