Aiden H 26110's Story

Aiden will remain in the Recovery Room until cleared for adoption. Aiden has dry eye and needs another vet check regarding eye drops related to dryness or potential allergies.

Aiden is snuggle buddy, couch potato, and a best friend. And because he loves his people so strongly, he would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day like a stay-at-home parent or retired individual. Kids 8+ years old preferred. Heis potty trained, walks well on leash, and is doing great with crate training. He has some food aggression which requires him to be fed separately from other dogs in the home, so he would do best with someone willing to keep meals structured and separate. He could use some more training on manners. Walks great on leash!

Aiden would do best in a house with a respectful adult dog or as an only dog. Puppy and young dog energy is tolerable to him, but he just prefers to relax and chill with his people, preferably getting belly rubs at the same time! He is such a sweet boy once he bonds with his new family or person. He will become your little shadow.

History: Aiden comes to us from a local shelter. He is said to be a sweet boy who enjoys attention from people who respect his boundaries. In his previous home, he was known to be quite vocal in response to different sights and sounds, so he would benefit from positive reinforcement-based training to help him learn when to use his voice. Aiden can be sensitive to handling around his ears, so a home with children who can understand and respect his space would be best. He has also shown some resource guarding around other dogs and will need to be fed separately from any canine friends in the home.
