Agnes is a stunning Saint Bernard cross who is looking for her soul mate. This soft and gorgeous girl has been flipped and flopped around enough that what Agnes wants, Agnes should finally get. At just about a year old, Agnes has supermodel looks and a lithe and lanky body to match. An absolute stunner, Aggie is someone's dream come true and it's our job to find them.<br/><br/>Agnes and her brother entered the shelter system via a backyard breeder when they were young, unsold pups. Big dogs are not on the top of the list for those looking at the shelter Aggie was in and both her and her brother sat for months. After some fits and starts, her brother was adopted leaving Aggie to languish there alone. Dogs like Agnes who have been unwanted and passed over as puppies are the most grateful, the most sincere in their wish for a loving home. <br/><br/>Agnes is fostered in the country with a house full of dogs and cats and this girl has blown the top off of the happy-o-meter! She was a teeny bit trepidatious when she arrived which is warranted but now, only a week in, she has settled in like she has always been someone's beloved family member. Aggie walks well on a leash, is joyful and trustworthy offleash, plays up a storm with her foster four leggeds, is respectful around the house panthers, and is a dream in the house. No counter surfing, no jumping up on people, and no drooling, just quiet and comforting. <br/><br/>Aggie takes her Saint Bernard heritage to heart and is a fabulous alarm system, barking to let you know there is danger (or a dog) walking by the house. Sometimes she looks very Saint Bernardy while other times she looks more mixy with a longer snout and curled tail but she is always beautiful. Due to her time without a person, she is working through some jellyness where her foster peeps are concerned. She is learning that those dogs getting attention from her foster mum are the same dogs who are amazing playmates outside. Being unloved comes with some baggage but Aggie is working through it and feeling safe is key to being a better share-er.<br/><br/>Aggie is looking for a home where she will be provided with love, companionship, and security. She deserves that and the moon after waiting for literally her whole life to find a safe landing. Her perfect home would be in the country where she can follow her sniffer and meet friends for a good off leash frolic. She would be happy with dog and cat siblings as long as her people understand that she will be unsettled for a bit and will need support to get over the little green monster (jealousy). Aggie is ready to be chosen (finally). To be loved (finally) To be someone's special, gorgeous, warm, easy going girl (forever!). <br/><br/>Agnes is up to date on core vaccinations, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $750.
