She can be vocal, which appears to be excitement-based, so we are not recommending her for an apartment. Aelin does take some time to warm up to people, but is lovely once she is comfortable. Aelin has done well with other dogs in the kennel (especially our more enthusiastic and energetic dogs). She can be a little keen and enthusiastic when meeting other dogs and can be a little forward at first, sometimes jumping in before settling. Once she has a moment to adjust, she is able to disengage asnd interact more appropriately. Her boofy, uncoordinated moments are typical of her youthful personality and she regularly diverts from chase behavior, showing good ability to self-regulate. She is still learning to walk better on leash - she is generally manageable and settles asthe walk progresses. Aelin will need a home without cats or small dogs. Aelin will do best in a home with a securely fenced yard and one that can provide enrichment and guidance in life. We do not recommend her with young children. She will likely do well as an only dog or one with a well-matched, confident dog.
