ADOPTED! Connor's Story

Hi, my name is Connor. I'm a big guy. Some may even call me “meaty”. But I like to think that 36 pounds means there is more of me to love. I am a 4 year old male bichon.

I am a very happy boy. I love to get hugs and give lots of kisses. If I don't think you have pet me enough I nibble on your shirt sleeve. I get along with everybody…dogs, adults and kids (I really liked the big hugs I got from a 3 year-old at the soccer fields.). I love people and dogs so much that I think I would like a new home that has another dog or someone to be home with me a lot.

I love walks. I get so excited when I see my leash I almost run into my harness. Car rides are good too.

My former owner left me at the groomer's. I had crystals in my urine and the infection made it hard for me to hold my pee-pee. The nice doctors gave me prescription food and I feel much better. I will probably have to have the special food the rest of my life though. That’s ok, ‘cause I like it. I hold my pee-pee now. I'm very good about going outside. But I'm not so good at telling my foster mom when I have to go (I just stand at the door—I don't make any noise or scratch.) so she sometimes misses my signal.

Connor is being fostered in IL

If you would like to adopt this dog, please fill out the Small Paws Rescue
Preadoption Application.

Small Paws Rescue Home Page www.smallpawsrescue.org
