Addie Mae's Story

Addie Mae’s eye is not making the progress that we had hoped for. She will have an enucleation at the time of her spay on the 9th.
Her other eye also has a small scar on it from past healed trauma. It’s probable that she could have a small blind spot visually in that eye.
Addie Mae is 8 months old. She will turn 1 in June. Currently 14 lbs.
She is a total spitfire!! Has learned that toys are pretty cool! She sleeps in a 4x4 X-pen at night and in and out during the day. Her potty training is going well, but will need to continue working on that.
She would have a high play level when it comes to other dogs, which could get her in trouble. At this point, that is avoided due to her eye treatment. She isn’t leash trained yet, but will be working on that.
She would be a bit too intense and wreckless to be around small children, but older children would be fine. Another tolerant dog in the house would be fine. She has not been introduced to cats yet. Must have lots of toys!!! Addie Mae's adoption fee is $300.00. Please go to www.heartrescueteam.com to submit an application.
