Addie's Story

Name: Addie aka Agnes

Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier/Shepherd Mix

Sex: Female

Age: estimated DOB 05/2025

Weight: 30lbs

Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed and on heartworm prevention.

House trained: Yes. I have done amazingly well with my potty training and hardly have any accidents as long as I'm taken outside reguarly. My foster Mama says I am the easiest puppy she has ever potty trained.

Crate Trained: Yes

Dogs/Cats: I do great with other dogs. I have not been around cats but can be tested upon request.

Children: I have not been around a lot of children, but the ones I have been around I've been very sweet and gentle with.

Energy Level: I'm a puppy so I do have some typical puppy energy. But I'm also an incredibly sweet and gentle girl that loves to give and receive love and snuggle with my humans.

Before FAR/My History: My sibblings and I were abandoned in a rural backyard when we were only a few months. I even had a collar on me that started to become embedded. Luckily someone saw us and rescued us and now we are happy and healthy waiting for our furever homes.

Training Status/Commands I know: Sit, stay, come, release (by saying ok). I also walk great on a leash. Working on down, shake, high five and place.

Things I like: Food! Playing with other dogs, my toys and giving and receiving love.

Things that make my humans happy: How incredibly sweet, affectionate and gentle I am, watching my personality shine now that I am in a safe and loving environment and how I like to "sing" when I get really excited while playing.

Working on: Having more confidence in new environments or around unfamiliar things. I can be a little timid in new places or around new sounds. But once I learn these things are ok, I relax and I am my normal sweet happy self.

Ideal Family/Home: I would do great in a home that can give me lots of love and affection and that is able to continue my training so I can continue to be a happy, confident girl.

If you are interested in giving Addie aka Agnes a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer.
