Our Mission

 

 

 

Furever After Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization that offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the middle Georgia area by providing a no-kill safe haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned animals.

 

 

The purpose of Furever After Rescue is: 

 

To rescue dogs from situations that are abusive, endangering, neglectful or from local kill shelters/pounds.

 

To assist owners wanting to give up their animals but willing to keep their animals for a short period of time, by finding new homes through the Organization’s Owner Surrender Program, as an alternate to placing their animal in a public shelter or animal control facility. We offer a judgment free alternative.

 

To provide necessary veterinary care. 

 

To place rescued animals into permanent adoptive homes.

 

To educate and promote the importance of spaying/neu

Adoption Policy

We are so happy that you have found an animal that you want to adopt. And we want to make the adoption process as easy as we can for you. 

1. The first thing we need is a completed adoption application. One can be found on our website at fureverafterrescuega.org, or you can request one be emailed to you.

2. We review the application and check references.

3. We do a meet and greet, either in your home or at an agreed upon location.

4. This is the best step: If all goes well, then you become the proud owner of a new furbaby!!
