Ada's Story

Ada enjoys belly rubs, booty scratches and going for walks. She also gets along with other dogs. She will be very shy at first, but if you are patient, you will end up with the best cuddle buddy! Ada has been here for 3 years due to her shyness. Ada is 3 years old now and weighs about 45lbs. She has a black patch over one eye and beautiful touches of brown throughout her coat. She really is a beautiful gal! Stone County Humane Society Inc.'s Adoption Policy

We approve adoptions over the phone by responding to a completed adoption application. Please go to our website schspets.org and complete an online application and someone will contact you. Our adoption fees are $150 for shelter dogs and $200 for Paws in Prison trained dogs, and $75 for cats. We take only cash or check no credit cards. We are open daily from 2 to 5 by appointment only (during the Pandemic). Volunteers are here Monday - Friday from 11 to 5 to answer the phone and help with adoptions.
