Ada's Story
Meet Ada: The Queen of Cozy

Some dogs dream of climbing mountains. Ada dreams of climbing under your blanket.

This adorable senior Chihuahua mix has perfected the art of living her very best life, and she's ready to share it with someone who appreciates the finer things—soft beds, warm laps, leisurely people watching, and being adored.

Ada starts every morning by taking care of business outside, then promptly returns to her royal suite (your bed, naturally) for what she considers the most important appointment of the day, snuggling. She's a professional cuddle consultant, an expert blanket burrower, and firmly believes that every nap is better when shared with her favorite human.

Don't let her senior status fool you, Ada still has a playful sparkle! She'll happily trot around, supervise the neighborhood from the window, and flash her irresistible crooked smile that has melted every heart she's met. She can be a little shy when faced with new situations, but once you've earned her trust, you'll have a loyal little shadow who thinks you're the greatest person on Earth.

Ada gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, but if she had a vote, she'd prefer to be the star of the show. She's happy to share her home, and would benefit from another confident dog friend, but she's quietly hoping her humans understand that princesses deserve a little extra attention.

Her ideal wardrobe? Pink with hearts, of course. Bonus points if it includes a tutu. She believes fashion should reflect one's personality, and hers says, "I'm here to spread love."

A few things to know:

Low energy and happiest living the cozy life.
Eats kibble with broth twice a day and could stand to lose a pound or two
Has a grade 4 heart murmur but currently doesn't require medication.
Barks very little, snores even less, and sheds just enough to leave tiny reminders that she loves you.

Ada's perfect home is one where snowy adventures are optional, cozy beds are plentiful, and someone is looking for a devoted little companion who will happily spend her days loving them with her whole heart.

If you've been searching for a tiny best friend with a huge personality, a crooked smile, and enough love to fill your home, Ada is ready to claim her throne, and hopefully, a permanent spot in your bed.

Come meet this little love bug. She promises you'll never nap alone again.

Microchipped
Housebroken (but needs encouragement when chilly/snowing)
Crate trained
UTD on vaccinations
UTD on preventatives

Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog.
