Ace's Story

Meet Ace!

Certified good boy, bound to be your new best friend 💜

Ace is about five years old and he's on the smaller side for a pit mix at only 43lbs. He's a sporty, energetic kind of guy that could benefit from getting into dog sports or something similar. He gets super bouncy when he wants attention and will shout at you until he convinces you to play with him or love on him.

He's got great leash manners despite his high energy and, though he can be easily distracted at times, he barely pulls on the leash at all so he isn't one that will have the tendency to drag you down the driveway. He does LOVE his walks though and would be a good hiking buddy!

He's very people-oriented and loves making new friends. He'll greet pretty much anyone with a tail wag and an enthusiastic sniff and then, bam, you're best friends. Ace does do well with other dogs but, ironically enough, gets spooked by other bouncy, high energy dogs until he realizes they aren't going to tackle him into the dirt. Another dog should be fine, preferably someone low-key that won't parkour off of him and give him a heart attack. He doesn't seem to know what a cat is. Kids 12+ would be best since we don't have any history of him with children though exceptions could be made for the right family with dog experience.

Since he is a "restricted breed", you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member.

To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com.
