Ace's Story

Hello.... my name is Ace, and I'm pleased to "meet" you.....
I'll be 6 in May. Did you see the video? I'm pretty darn smart! I've had lots of training and have been taught many tricks. So why is a special guy like me looking for a new home?
Here's the situation.... I'm great with large dogs, but I'm not good with other dogs my size (medium) or smaller. My "brother" is my size too, and we often just don't like each other. (But hey! I'm good with cats.... I used to live with some felines!)

Also, I used to live on a ranch, but my parents had to move to the city for a job. I don't necessarily need to be on a ranch again; a person or family with a laid back lifestyle or slightly active would make me very happy! (You read that right.... yes, heelers are usually very driven, but I'm more on the chill side of activity level!) I do LOVE swimming.... boats..... paddleboards! I love the water! I also love to take a good nap, perform my tricks, play (especially fetch), herd cattle, and eat treats.
Crate trained? You bet! I love my crate.... it's my safe spot!

Are you interested in meeting me? POPP offers FOSTER TO ADOPT options!
That’s where you and I make sure we are a good fit for one another before you sign on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog?
Please complete our adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/

If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org.

ADOPTION PACKAGES: Our puppy or dog adoption fee of $200 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion who has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption. Your adoption fee helps support POPP and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.
